Under the current Pandemic, NHS England have set out extremely stringent infection control precautions which we are required to follow for the safety of both our staff and patients. As such, patients will be required to comply with the guidance:
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Patients should attend on their own and those needing support and assistance will be required to attend with one carer only. Children who have appointments should attend with one parent only and if a family appointment is made, we will consider the number of patients visiting the Practice at that time so we can ensure that we adhere to the social distancing guidance provided by the government
Patients should attend wearing a face covering or mask
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect you and staff.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:
Our receptionists will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again at your appointment
Our team will have daily temperature checks and screening for Covid-19 upon arrival to ensure they are well and able to deliver your treatment safely. We will in turn be checking your temperature when you arrive for all appointments for your safety as well as the safety of our staff and other patients. If you are found to have a higher than normal temperature, we will be happy to rebook your appointment
You will be asked to attend your appointment wearing a face mask or covering. You will also be asked to use the hand sanitizer provided.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This may mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time
The personal hygiene of all our staff will continue to remain high with good infection control measures. however, please do not be alarmed as you may see our team with extra Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Our friendly reception and administration staff may be wearing masks and behind screen shields but be assured that they will be still smiling behind this equipment.
We anticipate that the length of appointments with your dentist will be longer and there will be a limit to the number of patients in our waiting areas
A distance of at least 2 metres must be observed if another patient is present in the dental practice
If you show symptoms following appointment booking, you should contact the practice by phone
Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible as you may not be able to wait at the Practice. Please do not attend the practice unless an appointment has been booked.
Payment should be made by card where possible. Some payments may be requested over the phone.
Once again, thank you for your continued understanding and support as we work hard to be here for your dental needs. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to seeing you again. To make an appointment, please call the Practice on the usual number.
